Mike Matheos May 2006 We participated in and qualified well in the opening event for the Rossler Heads Up Quick-8 at Salem, Ohio. We went on to win the event running 4.30’s at 162 mph in eliminations. We had a .004 light in the finals to beat Larry Higgenbottham . October 2005 We went on to the NSCA event in Columbus Ohio to compete in the Top Street Class. We fell victim to our own testing woes as a drive train failure led to another small nitrous backfire on the starting line in the opening round of competition. September 2005 With the new car just completed (not yet painted) we competed in the Top Street Class at the NSCA Event in Stanton, Michigan. We ran well all weekend and made it through eliminations into the finals to meet up with Randy Jewel. We had a .007 reaction time in the finals and thought victory was ours until a mis-programmed controller put an end to our day with a small nitrous backfire on the starting line... July 2005 First time at the track with the new car was at the NSCA event in Salem Ohio. First pass on the car was a 7.95 @ 175 mph.
