Edmond · RiNo Development Identity

Ellen Bruss Design | Brand Identity (Internship)

Edmond is a mixed-use development located in Denver’s RiNo Arts District, housed within a reimagined former luggage manufacturing warehouse dating back to the late 1800s. The identity was rooted in research around the site’s industrial history, craftsmanship, and the evolving cultural landscape of the neighborhood.

While interning at Ellen Bruss Design, I developed a direction that explored the intersection of legacy and contemporary use — balancing historic references with a modern, flexible visual system suitable for a long-term development brand. My proposed direction was selected and further refined as the foundation for the final identity.

The resulting system reflects both the building’s past and its future, honoring materiality, structure, and place while supporting a forward-looking residential and commercial experience.
