Edmond Curtis Park
Historic identity woven into contemporary development
Edmond is a mixed-use development located in Denver’s RiNo Arts District, housed within a reimagined former luggage manufacturing warehouse dating back to the late 1800s.
While interning at Ellen Bruss Design, I worked on an identity direction for this upcoming real estate development block that explored the intersection of legacy and contemporary use — The identity was rooted in research around the site’s industrial history, craftsmanship, and the evolving cultural landscape of the surrounding neighborhood. Balancing historic references with a modern, flexible visual system suitable for a long-term development brand. My proposed direction was selected for the final identity and further refined to a current part of the RiNo visual vernacular.
The resulting system reflects both the building’s past and its future, honoring materiality, structure, and place while supporting a forward-looking residential and commercial experience.
