A social activism poster supporting gender affirming mental health care for LGBTQIA? Youth and The Trevor Project
Sketching is key to concept exploration and an at home photo shoot realized the concept.
As the father of a transgender youth this topic is especially personal. Focusing on the Trevor project as a platform and resource to promote awareness, I created a poster that reflects the need for Gender Affirming Care to begin at home. Creating the tagline “Home Sweet Gender Affirming Home” and presenting it in the form of a child’s drawing serves not only to normalize the message, but also to communicate the age at it which it can make the most difference.
