Prasada
Custom Typeface
Problem
The creation of a personal custom typefaces from sketches to fully usable digital assets.
This typeface was created as the realization of a nearly lifelong interest in typography and its powerful effects. Prasada reflects an interest in the fine dining aesthetics of the Art Deco era combined with a subtle nod to Constructivist geometry. A unique naming convention, well structured crafting, and the ability to work at variable weights allows this typeface to stand out in a vast sea of type options.
Solution
Process and Realization
Hand drawn sketches were turned into vectors in Adobe Illustrator and then solidified into a workable typeface with Glyphs software.
